Yoga is one of the best forms of exercise you can get. It may not be about burning fat and calories, but it definitely makes you a healthier and fitter person.

My yoga teacher says that yoga is a way of life - it is about finding balance in mind, body, and spirit, which is achieved through meditation, breathing, and physical exercise.

No matter how bad I feel, after a yoga session, I feel so much more relaxed, energetic, and limber. It really helps with improving your flexibility, and reducing stress.

If you are a yoga teacher, enthusiast, or are interested in taking up yoga for the first time, at London Olympia is an opportunity to get stuck right in.

Running from the 24th - 26th October, days tickets are £12 - £27 for 1 - 3 days, while concessions are £10 - £22. Children under 16 are free. There are also lots of workshops priced between £5 - £12. These include Sex and Meditation, Tequila Yoga Rave, Odaka Warrior Flow, Bending Over Backwards, Punk Rock Yoga, HotPod Yoga, BoxingYoga, and many others.

There will also be a lot of free 'open class' sessions to take part in, with classes for all levels. Beginner classes are for those who have never tried yoga before; intermediate is for those who have been practicing for at least six months, and Advanced is for true experienced yogis and professionals. You can also encourage your kids to get involved with free children's classes.

The show will feature over two hundred exhibitors in the field of Yoga, Pilates, Ayurveda and health products. You will be able to buy equipment such as mats, bags, and clothing.

Anyone attending the show will also get free entrance to the Mind, Body, Soul Exhibition that takes place next door. It will include Zumba, Tai Chi, Bollywood Dance, Hula Hooping, Belly Dancing, and Salsa.

As Yoga is a lifestyle, not just an exercise programme, the cafes will be serving healthy meals rather than the fatty rubbish usually available at exhibition venues. The menu includes fruit salad, Greek yoghurt, soup, tofu dishes, and a variety of other vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
