It was the end of a beautiful day in York with the boyfriend, and I had booked us a special treat for dinner. , situated right opposite the beautiful Clifford's Tower, proved to be a very relaxing, low-key place to eat.





After enjoying the complimentary bread and butter (which is always a very nice touch), we set down to choose our main course. The pizzas are very reasonable, however, the main courses may prove quite pricey for students. The pasta dishes are well worth a try, as they are quite decadent and rich.





Overall, I wouldn't quite say that is the best restaurant in York, but it's certainly one of them. It's great for families and young couples, but not for a luxurious meal. Reserve this place for casual lunches!
