My parents came up to Leeds for another wonderful visit, and yet again, I wanted to take them to somewhere new. A friend had recommended The New Conservatory to me and I decided to take them there.

The specials of the day were very tempting (including hoisin duck spring rolls), and my Dad chose the chicken and chorizo salad from the specials menu. My Mum opted for the chicken and bacon caeser salad, which she enjoyed, but commented that the portion of salad itself was not very large, despite the helpings of meat and croutons being very generous.

I decided to have two starters for a main (as I fancied a bit of variety) and had the soup of the day and prawn and crayfish stack, which was delicious and came with a very generous helping of buttered bread.

I would recommend The New Conservatory for casual family events, or if you're a student and want to take your group out for a meal.
