I walk the streets to look for places that I think may be of interest to not just those visiting London, but for those who live there. Sometimes though I think to get the best side of London you have to give in to the temptation and stay at a hotel. I know that might seem strange, especially for those living there, but some of the best hotels you could hope to find are in this fair old city.

One such hotel is the May Fair . Located comfortably off the main Piccadilly drag, without being too far from the action, the May Fair offers comfort, and something slightly more luxurious too; a luxury spa .

There is a wet spa and Relaxation Room to use through purchasing a day pass. Although these facilities are available to those who are not guests in the hotel, being a guest entitles you to a treatment at half the price, and free if you have a treatment.

These treatments come in the form of packages , with some seemingly very expensive, until that is you realise that those treatments used to be reserved only for royalty, so you can be sure you'll be pampered unlike at any other time in your life.

On top of this are the more usual facials, massages and body treatments, offering a pretty comprehensive range of treatments for the tired, stressed, or those just in need of a good pamper.

One thing is for sure, one visit to this particular spa will not be enough; once you've tried, it will be hard to stay away.
