The Royal Marsden is a world-leading cancer care and research centre that treats over 40 000 patients a year, and with your support raises funds in order to help scientists find a cure.
One of its fundraising schemes is the Marsden March, a five or fourteen mile sponsored walk between The Royal Marsden's hospitals in Chelsea and Sutton. Last year 3700 participants raised £1.2 million.
It costs £10 for adults to register, but is free for under 16s. You can choose to either walk fourteen miles starting from Chelsea Marsden Hospital or five miles, which starts at King George's Playing Field.
The first group will begin at 9am, with the next groups following on in twenty minute intervals until 11.30am. The route will take you along Fulham Road, Putney High Street, Wimbledon Common, and Nonsuch Park.
Don't forget to recruit some cheerleaders to cheer you on.
