Named after the first black-owned American record label, Motown has come to be known as the sound of soul music during the 1960s. The genre has a strong background in Gospel music, features a call-and-response style, and has a backbeat rhythm, which, when combined, creates magic.

The Magic of Motown will soon be able to be heard in the UK. The
tour will start on the 17th January in Colchester at Mercury Theatre and finish off at Plymouth Pavilions on the 13th December 2014. Tickets range from £25.40-£42.40.
You will get to see Motown legends come to life as their smash-hit songs are performed live on stage by. Hear fabulous male harmonies and stunning female vocals as talented singers present the music of Diana Ross, The Temptations, Four Tops, The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, and the Jackson 5, to name but a few.
