I wasn't really sure about the Kings Arms at first- it seemed too loud and bright for my taste. However after passing approximately an hour there, I was won over.

The Kings Arms is a modern take on a traditional London pub. It looks like it is adorned with trinkets and bric-a- brac- a bit like an antiques shop but this it actually feels fun and quirky. The staff are young and friendly. There was a good atmosphere- buzzing but not too crowded.

So the food... We both went for the pork ribs as the reviews of them were amazing and they did not disappoint. Moist and delicious, they were probably the best ribs I had enjoyed in London. The chips complimented the meat well. There was plenty to eat and I ended up feeling comfortably full.

I accompanied my dinner with cider- these were the standard varieties. I'm pretty sure you could help yourself to free lemon water as well.

The Kings Arms is a great place for Sunday lunch or dinner with friends. Well worth a visit.
