With Crouch End boasting independent record shops, live music venues and endless creative types, it is little wonder that The End Festival looks like a feast of live music.

Having been dubbed NxN8 in the past, the festival returns this year from Friday November 16th-Saturday 17th. What better way to pass a late autumnal weekend than buying a two day pass and taking in a multitude of events across the area?

There will be live music sets in the King's Head, The Haberdashery, Painted Black and many, many more. Confirmed artists include: Gravenhurst, Peggy Sue, Milk Maid, Novella, Woodpecker Wooliams, Boxed In, Eyes and No Eyes, One Eyed Wayne, Harry Oakwood Millionaire, Dutch Barn and Moshi Moshi records.

The early bird tickets have already sold out, so it looks likely to be a bustling weekend. You can still get 2day-ers for twenty quid fromhttp://thelocal.tv/listings/eventdetails/16-nov-12-the-end-festival-the-end-festival-n8/ which seems, frankly, like a bit of a bargain.

The organisers aim to use this festival to tempt touring bands away from the usual venues in Shoreditch and Camden, a little further north to Crouchy. It looks likely to be a fantastic event. I am particularly looking forward to live music in an ice cream parlour. The best kind of frosty reception.

Check it out from the middle of the month.
