At the recommendation of a friend who is native to London, myself and a group of friends headed to The Comedy Store near Piccadilly Circus for a truly unforgettable night out.
We visited the Store on a Monday and were lucky enough to watch a brilliantly funny Review of the Year, featuring regular Comedy Store talents. Tickets are £13 in advance for students, and the show was worth every penny. I had become to accustomed to student nights full of poor-taste, amateur comics, but this Review of the Year mixed satire with Mock The Week-esque games and quick-witted improvisation, creating a brilliant show. Song parodies also featured and were a very welcome addition! It is safe to say I had not laughed so hard in a long time; the comedy was hilarious without being crude, and clever, without being pretentious.
If you go along on Sundays, you can catch the Comedy Store Players, a critically-acclaimed improvisation group.

Pre-show anticipation
While I would not recommend the food available at the Comedy Store Diner (except the chips and potato wedges), the drinks were very reasonably priced, considering that fact that we're talking
London drinks prices, and I am, personally, used to the cheap, Northern costs. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, and is ideal for everybody who enjoys a really good laugh (well, who doesn't?)
