As part of the Museum's efforts to inform its visitors about the cultural history of the United States in the UK, it has brought world-renowned knitwear and textile designer Kaffe Fassett back to exhibit his works. The Colourful World of Kaffe Fassett exhibition promises to be as colourful as the dazzling pieces on display. Visitors can feast their eyes on over 100 works of knitwear, needlepoint, beading, and quilts alongside vibrant mosaics and still life paintings. Nearly all the objects on view are from the designer's personal collection. San Francisco-born Kaffee first exhibited his works in the American Museum in 1994 and returns in 2014 to celebrate his 50 years working as an artist and colourist.
