Ever been cheated in a game of cards, or swindled by a street magician? Since the Middle Ages down to the Wild West, and gangsters of the 1930s, card sharks have used the sleight of hand to steal gamblers and honest folk out of their winnings. Discover the tricks of the trade in a brand new show, The Card Shark, and discover the incredible history of classic card scams and cheats.
The Card Shark Show is written and performed by the accomplished sleight of hand artist, Steve Truglia, who is a member of an elite magician's society called The Magic Circle. He is also an accomplished stunt coordinator and action director, which adds to his 'smoke and mirrors' performance.
The show runs until the 22nd March at Mayfair Theatre and tickets costs between £50-£60. You will learn about real life con artists and the techniques they used to swindle the masses. Truglia will use film, images, music, and live camera action demonstrations to bring magic to the audience.
