Now I'm a real foodie when it comes to cakes and I love baking too.

If you saw me, you probably wouldn't believe it, but I do love my cakes. But aside from that, I'm here to tell you about where you can find the best one - in my opinion that is;

Morrison's Bakery.

By far, they make the most amazing cream cakes - just thinking about them makes me want one!

The best one, produced by the supermarket bakery is -


%%The Strawberry and Fresh Cream Gateau.

This delicacy is made from a layer of fluffy fresh cream, smooth custard, soft spongy cake, fresh strawberries and cute little chocolate shavings to finish it off.

The amount of sugar is just right and the taste of all these things put together is totally delicious. The only thing I would however change is the thickness of it, you can't get all of those layers in one bite, which is a bit of a shame really.

I've eaten cakes from many bakeries, including other supermarkets, but cakes from this bakery taste perfect in comparison. You wouldn't normally associate the best cakes with a supermarket but if you tasted this cake, you'd know what I mean.

Being a baker myself, I know what I'm talking about when I say everything is just the right texture and consistency when it comes to the Strawberry and Fresh Cream Gateau.

Ultimately if you're after a cake for a birthday party or if you're simply a cake lover, like me, then give this cake a go and tell me if you agree to it being the best cream cake, a supermarket could produce.
