Learning to meditate is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. It allows you to have time where you can let go of your worries and pain and just be. Be in the moment, be in the acceptance of who you are full of love and beauty. Research indicates that kindness and compassion lead to greater happiness.
As part of Dying Matters Week 2018, the Royal Trinity Hospice, London is hosting an evening on reflection, teaching, meditation and on what it is to be kind. Facilitators for the evening are Michael Savage, Spiritual Lead at Trinity and Alan Hughes, a teacher of mindfulness and meditation at The Mindfulness Association.
In Alan's late teens, he became interested in Buddhism and started meditating. In 2010, he gave up his day job as a marine biologist to deepen his interest in Buddhism and meditation. For the past five years, he has volunteered full time at the Tibetan Buddhist Centre in London and now focuses his time on teaching mindfulness and meditation to others.
This is a free event, however, RSVP must be registered using the Eventbrite Form as space is limited. If you have any further questions on this wonderful event, please contact Anna Zakrezewski at

This event kicks off Dying Matters Week 2018 and will be held on Monday 14th May 2018 from 7.00 to 9.00pm.
