One of the most celebrated British photographers, Terry O'Neill, has an Award running in his name since 2007. Entrants participate by submitting arresting images that range across fashion, documentary, wildlife, reportage, portraiture, landscape and fine art genres.
Entries are then shortlisted and out of thousands, ten works of brilliance are exhibited at The Strand Gallery and covered in a special feature of The Sunday Times Spectrum magazine. The three winners are awarded with a cash prize of £3000, £1000 and £500 respectively.
This year the exhibition launches on Thursday, the 17th of January with a private view (between 6pm and 9pm) and awards ceremony.
The Award, which strives to find promising upcoming talent in the industry, is revered as a 'hotly' contested photographic award of current times.
The gallery will open its doors for public viewing on 18th of January and will showcase the works till 31st.
