Climpson's Arch is the home of Climpson and Sons Roastery, and while it specialises in coffee, from Thursdays to Sundays the space transforms into a fully licensed informal dining and drinking venue. Usually this means a barbecue, but on the 26th June, there will be an added bonus, as two special guests arrive to tantalise your taste buds.
Ocho
Tequila Ocho was born out of a collaboration between the renowned Camarena distillers family and Tomas Estes, who is credited with being the first person to bring tequila to Europe. For the spirit to be classified as tequila, it needs to be made from at least 51% blue agave, but Ocho are proud to use 100% ensuring the best quality and flavour. 'Ocho' means 'eight' in English, which among other things, stands for the eight weeks and eight days that they spend ageing their tequila.
Quiquiriqui
Quiquiriqui's mezcals are all handcrafted in small batches from 100% espadin agave, and produced by families who have been in the industry for generations.
From 6pm Climpson's Arch will begin its regular BBQ, then from 7pm, join Ocho and Quiquirqui for free samples, food, cocktails, and a friendly chat.
