Named after the Telegraph Station, which used to sit on top of it as a communications point in South East London, this park, split into two sides (upper and lower) serves the neighbourhood extremely well.

Starting with the Upper Park, there are tennis courts at the top (with probably the best views for a rally you will find in the UK).

The views are really the main selling point for this part of the park and in the early evening, you may find a lot of the local residents sitting out here and enjoying the sun going down over the city on the horizon. It's also a good spot for fireworks and there is usually a decent crowd here at new year and on Fireworks night.

The lower park has different views, not quite as spectacular but still pretty and it also benefits from several other features.

There is a skate park and basketball court for the local teens to enjoy.

The pond here has a beautiful weeping willow and quite often, you might spot a heron on the water.

Next to the children's play area, right near the bottom of the park, there is a weekly farmers market including a crepe stall, a couple of veg producers, coffee, meat and various other goodies depending who decides to put up their stall.
