I was literally salivating when I was buying the tickets for this festival. Taste of London is an annual food festival that changes location every year. It's a festival where London's culinary best all get together in one place and sell delicious small items that they picked specifically from their menus for this festival. As well as wineries, tea shops and everything you could possibly want to eat or drink!
I literally couldn't help myself and I tried everything. My favorites were the Cafè Spice Namastè's Dhai saev batata poori, Tom's Kitchen's Truffle mac & cheese and Tredwell's Salted caramel soft serve with warm dark chocolate. Yummy!
In terms of food, everything was on point, but the organisation of the venue was a bit odd, and I got lost a number of times. Also, in terms of tickets, it's a bit on the pricey side (19 pound entrance fee) and inside you get cards and charge them with an amount of money and spend it. If you're somehow full and don't want to spend the rest of the money, there's no refund. The money stays in the card. Also, for a food festival, there was a shortage of drinking water! How am I supposed to cleanse my palate? With vodka?
Other than these logistical issues, everything else was nice, the atmosphere was fun, with artists playing music and people singing along, and of course the delicious food and alcohol.
