With the Taste of London restaurant festival this year celebrating its tenth anniversary, we should be in store for some real surprises.
Organisers are promising the festival's best ever line-up of restaurants, chefs, and food glorious food.
Taking place in the wonderful surroundings of Regent's Park from 20th to 23rd June, it's surely the must-visit event of the year for gourmets and gourmands alike.
In attendance will be some of the world's finest chefs, including the likes of Albert Roux, Michel Roux Jr and Emily Roux (that's right, three generations of the same family!), Raymond Blanc, Ben Tish, Pascal Aussignac and Bruno Loubet.
Restaurants serving up their mouthwatering fare at the festival for the first time include the acclaimed
Sushisamba,
Duck & Waffle, and Peruvian eatery
Lima. You'll have no trouble spotting some of your old favourites too, with
Le Gavroche,
Gauthier Soho,
Opera Tavern, and
Tamarind all back by popular demand.
In all, 40 top London restaurants will be present at the event, representing cuisines from around the world.
Sponsored once again by British Airways, the international carrier will be giving visitors the chance to sample the edible delights about to be offered on the airline's new Airbus A380 planes, scheduled for the Los Angeles and Hong Kong routes.
There'll also be plenty of shopping opportunities, with around 200 boutique and food stalls to explore, together with wine tastings and cooking demonstrations by an array of popular chefs.
Taste of London this summer is promising more food-based delights than ever, and knowing how well things have gone in previous years, it's a safe bet this year's event will have no trouble delivering.
