The Tapestry is a friendly bar and restaurant located in Mortlake, South-West London, and if you hadn't already guessed from the name, it serves Tapas!

The Tapestry
The varied Tapas menu includes all the Spanish favourites such as tortilla, quesadilla, pan-fried chorizo, manchego cheese and patatas bravas, plus a whole lot more. The price for Tapas ranges from around £5-£6, and the portion sizes are very generous. There are also main meals if you don't fancy having a little bit of everything; the 'specials' change daily and are written up on a chalkboard for your perusal. There is always a vegetarian option alongside fish, chicken and red meat choices. A typical example is char-grilled sirloin steak and chunky herb fries priced at £15.85. Desserts include classics like sticky toffee pudding and banoffee pie, and cost £6.95.

Veggie special
The Tapestry's interior is roomy, bright and tastefully decorated; the atmosphere tends to be calm and relaxed during the day and then it gets livelier later on. There are regular themed evenings – such as a Brazilian Night - so it's a great place to drink and socialise, as well as to enjoy delicious Mediterranean food. There is a lovely courtyard garden to enjoy on warmer days and the venue also caters for wedding parties, christenings and family gatherings.
