Can you crack the clues and solve the Castle Quest
Have you got what it takes to solve the Castle Quest? In a cross between Taskmaster and The Crystal Maze, young adventure seekers, problem solvers and gaming enthusiasts are invited to visit Tamworth Castle and take part in a fun family activity during the forthcoming Spring Bank Holiday half term break. Medieval Tamworth Castle in the centre of the Staffordshire town of the same name is throwing down the gauntlet to anyone brave enough to pit their wits against the Quest Master by solving a series of clues to complete the Castle Quest.
Based on a series of challenges throughout the 11th century Norman castle, questers will encounter cunning characters and tricky trials, each of them revealing a secret word. Recording the words and trading them with the Quest Master will result in participants winning the opportunity to take on the ultimate challenge of walking the grid…blindfolded. Succeeding will not be easy but those who are prepared to take the risk will win a rare reward that cannot be bought, earned only by those who are worthy.
Castle Quest will run every day from Monday 27 May right through until Sunday 2 June, from 10.30am to 3pm. General admission prices to Tamworth Castle apply. No pre-booking is necessary, but tickets can be booked in advance to secure a place via www.tamworthcastle.co.uk/events.
