People in Staffordshire are being invited to enjoy a summer of theatre while still taking advantage of the hoped-for lovely weather! Outdoor theatre is returning to the grounds of medieval
Tamworth Castle in Staffordshire with four exciting live stage performances commencing in June and continuing through July and into August. Start the summer programme by joining Oddsocks Productions for
Julius Caesar in June; followed by Jellyfish Theatre performing
The Wagon of Dreams: The Dragon Wagon in July. The season then concludes with Tethered Wits Ltd for the
Railway Children and
Jeeves and Wooster% in August.
Theatre lovers are urged to bring their own picnic and be ready to sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Packed with fun and humour, the four tales provide the perfect family entertainment. All four shows will take place on the lower lawn of the
Castle Grounds near the bandstand, with the stunning Tamworth Castle in the background, providing a beautiful space to enable families to bring picnic blankets or chairs and settle themselves in their own areas for the performance. Audiences are asked to not bring alcohol, glasses or gazebos.
