You'd hope the instruments and music stands are stored carefully away, because Thornden Hall is about to be stormed by wrestlers. SWF , otherwise known as the Superstar Wrestling Federation, are in town for one night all the way from America for an action packed evening. SFW Live Pro Wrestling will kick off on January 13th with the first bell at 7:30pm for an evening of entertaining matches, but doors open at 7:00pm.

SWF blends high-intensity professional wrestling with entertainment to create a family-friendly evening that is both fast and fun. The matches are filled with infamous and entertaining characters, you might even recognise some faces with the SWF lineup including a few former WWE/WWF personalities alongside some newer faces too. The US based wrestlers capture the excitement and energy that you remember from professional wrestling's heyday.

Expect to see a variety of different matches including a tag-team match and a ladies match, and plenty of tag team action. There's also a Royal Rumble, a type of match where participants enter at timed intervals in a battle royal style fight to be the last one standing.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for children, family tickets can be purchased for £30 and will admit two adults and two children. Booking fees apply. is designed for family fun, so while wrestling may not be for everyone you can expect a family-friendly show.
