Keiko is a Sushi Samurai. A master in Japanese cuisine, teppanyaki, and also a sake sommelier, she set up SushiQueen in 2009, after her previous restaurant closed down due to the credit crunch. Working endlessly, Keiko built up her business once more, and now offers customers an immersive Japanese culture and kitchen experience with her private and group courses, that teach you how to become your own sushi superhero.

Find out which wines go best with sushi. Keiko will give a canape demonstration while a a wine expert from SippLondon will guide you through a variety of tastings.
Fine Sushi & Sashimi Master Class 26th January, 15th February & March, 11am, £125
Learn how to make six types of sushi in a lesson that shows you how to prepare, wash, cook, and season rice, and present it in a hangiri bowl. Find out how to choose your fish based on freshness and hygienically handle raw food. After the lesson, you will have a group lunch, learn sushi etiquette, and get to take your sushi home.
Black Cod Miso 7th February, 7pm, £65
Learn how to prepare black cod, and decide which is the best miso base to use. You'll get to make several kinds, including rice with pea and spinach with tofu.
Group Teppanyaki Cooking Class 25th January, 12pm, £350
Using a portable portable grill called a hibachi, you will learn how to cook teppanyaki meals with steak, chicken, fish, prawns, lobster, vegetables, and fried rice. It will involve preparing your own teriyaki and barbecue sauce, creating an onion volcano, and handling live lobsters.
