The latest addition to join Kidlington's charity shops is the
Sue Ryder charity . They've taken over what was previously the cycle shop and there is now a gleaming new white facade with two large windows to peek at what's on offer.
The grand opening will take place on 18th January at 11am with a tea party. Nicola Blackwood, Conservative MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, will officially conduct the opening, then you have the chance to peruse the shelves and enjoy a slice of cake and cup of tea.
From the outside I was impressed with the opulent window display of cocktail dresses and a large mirror. As you would expect, they will be selling a range of clothes, bric a brac, books, CDs and DVDs.
[ADVERT]The Sue Ryder charity shop in Kidlington will also have a range of new items that can be purchased. Their popular dolls house was also on display as I peered through the window and would make a fabulous present for any child. I also liked the look of the musical instruments, including some very snazzy looking guitars. Introducing music to children has great developmental benefits for them (

The shop is still looking for volunteers, so if you have some spare time this would be a great way to support a charity and get out of the house.
Sue Ryder is a national charity that "[provides] health and social care services in local communities". So why not pop in for the opening ceremony and see what bargains you could find?
