Leeds are once again setting the bar high for foodie festivals, and here is the third instalment of The Belgrave Street Feast . It makes a welcome return this Saturday with food and drink outlets such as El Topo, Grub'n'Grog and Patty Smith's Burgers represented.

I know the 'Belgrave' sounds fancy, but trust me it's heart-breakingly cool: it has just the right amount of indie balanced with a hipster, yet grown up crowd. Think of a student-vibe, but with more style. The Belgrave is most certainly an independent, with food, drink and music are spread across three floors. Cool no?


A handful of my friends live up North, and have previously attended the first Belgrave Street Fest with glowing reviews. Apparently the burgers are winners, but the crowd cottons on early, so get there in good time to avoid waiting in the queue for long.

This time, however, there's also an arts market and film screenings on the roof garden. It sounds ideal don't you think?

The street food fest lasts all day (11am - 8pm), so you'll have time to grab a quick snack no matter what time you attend.
