Street Art and Graffiti Tour

When it comes to street art, east London is like one vast outdoor art gallery. Thanks to the likes of Banksy, with his thought-provoking and mind-bogglingly creative masterpieces, outdoor art has been pushed into the limelight and, most will say, into the mainstream.
The only problem with street art is that it's not always easy to find, though that can also be part of its attraction. The thrill of stumbling across a new work of art can be topped only by stumbling across someone actually creating a new work of art, though Banksy seems to do a fine job of not being noticed.
Sometimes, however, it would be nice to be shown some street art - a whole load in one go. Step forward Insider London , who've come up with their very own street art and graffiti tour. When it comes to this kind of art, they've certainly got their finger on the spray can nozzle.
The thing is with street art, it could appear on Monday and be cleaned up by Tuesday. Insider London do their best to bring you a mix of the old and the new, by renowned artists such as Shepard Fairey and Space Invader, as well as up-and-coming local talent like Mr D. And not forgetting Banksy too, of course.
Each tour lasts up to two hours, and because of the fast-changing street art scene, every tour is unique. Decent walking shoes, a camera and a curiosity about this dynamic genre recommended.
Tours start from the lobby of the Andaz Hotel by Liverpool Street Station and can be booked here.
