Nestled away in the Norfolk countryside, Stowbridge is a quiet village with a brilliant community spirit. It is a small village found between Downham Market and Kings Lynn making it is easy to find and a convenient location.



In the countryside village halls are the heart of a community. They provide a location for events and a place to meet others. Run by a voluntary committee Stowbridge Village Hall really is an integral part of the community.

The hall is available to hire for private events. Why not hold a wedding reception or private function in a quiet village near the beauty of The Great River Ouse? With more reasonable prices than function rooms in the bigger villages and cities this can be the perfect location for a special occasion when you are on a budget. The hall is only 20 minutes drive from Downham Market and Kings Lynn where there are main transport links so it is easy for guests coming from all over the country. The Village Hall has a licensed bar if needed, meaning all different events from parties, to weddings and anniversaries can be catered for. The playing field is a welcome feature to the hall as it provides plenty of outdoor space to use, this would be perfect for a children's party, allowing kids to run around and play.



There are some regular events at The Village Hall, everybody is welcome to attend and there is a friendly and warm atmosphere. Bingo is held on alternate Mondays, short mat bowls is on Tuesdays at 7pm. There is something for the children with playgroups held on Tuedays and youth club on Friday. If you enjoy dance you can try jive classes on a Wednesday or ballroom dancing on Thursdays at 7.30pm, there is an activity for everyone here. With a real community feel at the hall it is a great place to meet locals and if you are new to the area this is the place to come to get to know your neighbours. As well as the regular events there are often special events held at the hall. From holistic festivals to car boots and charity bake sales the Village Hall is used as a community hub where you can have a day out or find something new. Look out for posters around the surrounding areas where events are advertised in a lovely, quaint, countryside way. You might just be out for a walk and notice an event taking place where you can pop in and explore.
