Christmas is a time for giving, and what better gift could you give than one made with your own two hands?

Sometimes though, we may need a little inspiration for fun and interesting handmade gifts to make and give. If you're looking for ideas, and would like to be taught some cool new craft skills at the same time, you could book onto a completely FREE sewing workshop, taking place in Central London on Sunday 17th November.

The Stitchless Christmas Sewing Workshop, run by Tree of Stitchless TV' s fame, will take place within the Haberdashery Department of John Lewis in Oxford Street.

Tree will be teaching a number of ways to make simple Christmas gifts for your loved ones. You could make a glitzy purse, a faux fur foxtail keyring, fur snood, infinity scarf, small clutch, fortune cracker using a vintage tourism scarf, and more.

Because workshops are free, booking are essential, there are two time slots.

1pm - 2.30pm
2.30pm - 4pm

To book, call the John Lewis Haberdashery Dept on: 0203 0730641

It is advisable to arrive 10 minutes before your class to meet Tree and check which supplies you may need to buy for your project.

There is nothing better than receiving a handmade gift for Christmas, it is so much more personal and special than an item that has been retail purchased.

You can also follow Tree on facebook to keep up to date with the latest sewing classes and tutorials.
