Stereo is a little laneway music venue and vegan cafe. We attended for a gig and entered through the cafe/bar and made our way down the stairs into the basement. It's a nice, small and intimate venue for live music with a variety of bands playing.

Our event was on a Thursday night and the whole place was buzzing with a great vibe in the cafe and venue. The bands for the night were Angus Munro as support and Fat Suit as the main act.

Both were fantastic bands with lots of energy and feel good music. The basement area did get pretty hot as it filled up with people and we would have been comfortable in only a T-shirt. However, as it was cold outside we had to hold our jackets for the whole gig.

There's a good selection of craft beers at the bar (better selection in the top bar) and the venue is located right in the city centre.
