Step into the world of Stephen Hawking and get a peek at his personal HQ in a new exhibit that's bound to tickle your brain cells. The "" display is like a backstage pass to the life of the guy who made black holes seem cool (and confusing). You'll be able to check out some of the quirky and fascinating items from his office, which the Science Museum Group snagged for the nation in May 2021.

Among the treasures on display, there's a precious copy of Hawking's PhD thesis—because who wouldn't want to see the beginnings of universe-bending ideas? And what's an office without the special glasses he used to communicate? You'll also find a cheeky invite to his infamous time travellers' party, proving he had a sense of humour as big as the cosmos. For a dash of whimsy, don't miss the jacket he got from the creators of The Simpsons, featuring beloved cartoon characters. And as a bonus, you can admire a cast photo from Star Trek: The Next Generation, because even theoretical physicists need a little sci-fi in their lives.
