A leading Grammy-nominated jazz singer will be making a rare UK appearance when she performs in concert at Lichfield in Staffordshire later this month. The internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, Stacey Kent , returns to the UK for a very select number of dates during 2018 which includes a much-anticipated show at the Lichfield Garrick theatre on May 22. Stacey is expected to perform a number of songs from her latest studio album, entitled I Know I Dream, which is her 11th album in all. Her performance at the Lichfield Garrick is currently her only date in the Staffordshire/West Midlands region, making this a very special appearance and a rare opportunity for Stacey's fans to see her live on stage.



I Know I Dream represents Stacey's first orchestral album. The beautiful collection of songs includes American standards and Bossa Nova classics, as well as original songs and reprises of some of her most loved repertoire - including numbers co-written by Nobel prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro, whose songwriting partnership with Stacey has formed an essential part of her repertoire. Stacey has been described as a jazz singer in the mould of the greats, with a legion of fans worldwide, a host of honours and awards, and album sales in excess of two million records. She has also produced a variety of Gold, Double Gold and Platinum-selling albums that have reached a series of number 1 chart positions during the course of her career to date.
