The Blitz Party, Prohibition, Dark Circus Party, and Chap Olympiad may all be very different events, and at first do not appear to much in common, but there is one thing that connects them all together. Bourne & Hollingsworth host them all. The social events organisation began as a basement bar in Fitzrovia, but now offers all sorts of spaces of socialising in Central London. You can find them in cocktail bars, pop-up kitchens, and their recently opened all-day modern brasserie and bar in Clerkenwell.

But Bourne & Hollingsworth don't restrict themselves to land. On the 29th November, from 8pm, they are inviting guests on an ocean-liner party, the SS: Atlantica Winter Voyage . Although the Atlantica is a seafaring ship, you will actually be sailing down the the River Thames on a 1930s themed cruise. There will be live performances, cabaret acts, black jack tables, champagne, and winter warming cocktails.

For £25 you will be transported back to the an era of nautical extravagance and sailing splendour. Take to the dance floor, encircled by balustrades and portholes, or take in the views of Big Ben and Tower Bridge from the upper deck.

The dress code is 'at sea formal wear', which means the starched collars and dinner suit of an Agatha Christie Villain for the gents, and silk and fur ensembles of silver screen starlets for the ladies.
