Filled with Ercol armchairs, old sofas, mismatched tables and chairs, quirky ornaments, and tables covered in maps, perfectly presents a beautiful and original space.

If you're merely looking for a drink, welcomes you. Enjoy a pot of loose leaf tea whilst slumped in one of their comfy sofas, or whilst looking out of the window at the bustling Nicolson Street and the beautiful Old College.

If you've wandered in for brunch/lunch, you'll have a difficult task picking something from 's yummy offerings. From ever-changing, original home-made soups with bread, to antipasti, chargrilled king prawn kebabs, to anchovy and boiled egg salad, everything I've tried so far has been delicious. Although it sounds boring, I can highly recommend the soup. The portions are always excellent for lunch, it's always delicious, and the flavours and ingredients are always so tasty and exciting.



By dusk, the candles are lit, the menu changes, and this relaxed cafe/lunch spot transitions into a casual bistro style eatery. With a dinner menu offering the likes of sirloin steak, grilled salmon with crushed peas, baby potatoes, chilli & coriander, a mushroom, barely and lemon ragout, and a fennel, kohl rabi, turtle beans and tomato, there's a real variety for all tastes. I've been here a few times and everything I've tried has been exquisite. I'd recommend the salmon or sea bream if you're a fish fan, both cooked to perfection and offered with complementary ingredients that really all work well together.

There's an extensive wine menu, as well as a selection of beers from IPAs and lagers to a variety of beers by Brew Dog.

For pretty and unique interiors, excellent food, a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices, 's the place to go.
