Spitalfields is most famous for its indoor market, but the area is more than just a shopping hub; it has a vibrant music scene as well.
Spitalfields Music runs two festivals a year, and as a result changes 'lives and aspirations' in London's East End.
While their summer festivals are big and booming, Spitalfields Music's winter does are a more intimate and heart-warming affair - just the right tone for those chilly days.
This year's winter festival runs between the 6th - 17th December, with events taking place in both hidden and iconic locations. With a diverse cast of professional artists and newcomers, you will be able to listen to classic masterpieces as well as contemporary performances. There is a programme of ticketed and free events, so whether there is a burning hole in your wallet or Christmas has left it a little starved, everyone can enjoy the party.
