When you go for a cycle ride, what do you do to stay energised? Athletes would recommend that you drink lots of water along the way, which I cannot deny, is probably the best way to stay hydrated. But what do you do on those cold mornings, when the thought of going out in lycra chills you to the bone? What do you do once you come to the end of your journey and are utterly pooped?

In what seems far too long a wait, coffee has come to the rescue. For the first time, two festivals are merging into one to celebrate great coffee and staying fit. Say hello to the Spin LCF Xmas . Taking place at The Yard, Shoreditch between the 29th November - 1st December, both the organisers from The Urban Cycle Show and The London Coffee Festival have come together for the 'ultimate Christmas shopping experience'.

Spin X LCF is free to book online or £5 at the door. Exhibitors will include international brands and small independent companies. For example, Michaux designs comfortable and fashionable cycling bags for women, while the Ozone Coffee Roasters will have a special Christmas blend available as well as their usual signature blends and single origin coffees. You will also be able to purchase brewing equipment, t-shirts, and gift packs.
