Want the opportunity to step inside a rare and magical pop-up full of wonder and entertainment? Then head over to Canary Wharf between Thursday 11th - Sunday 21st September for an amazing time inside a Spiegeltent .

In Dutch, the word 'spiegel' means 'mirror'. A Spiegeltent or 'mirror tent' is a large travelling tent made of wood and canvas. They are decorated with mirrors and stained glass to create spectacles, illusions, and magical performances. Originally built in Belgium during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, only a few are still in existence.

A trip to Wood Wharf on London's very own miniature island, the Isle of Dogs, will provide you with ten days of cabaret, music, literary talks, poetry, craft workshops, children's theatre, comedy, silent disco, and acrobatics.

The London Dance Orchestra will open the event with a Cabaret Concoction. The next day you can fill up on a Light Lunch Laura Moody and listen to some Social Sounds with Krystle Warren. Throughout the rest of the week, enjoy a sports quiz, craft club, poetry readings, and various talks by guests such as cartoonists, Peter Brookes & Martin Rowson. Each event is individually ticketed; some are free, while the rest range from £4 - £14.
