Diary of a Somebody which was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award and the McKitterick Prize.
Opened last year, The Heath Bookshop is based in Kings Court in Kings Heath and run by two reading enthusiasts Catherine Gale and Claire Dawes.
They said:
“We are so excited about the author events coming up in the next few months. We’ve been incredibly lucky over the last 14 months to welcome the A-List of authors to our shop from Kit de Waal to Grace Dent and so to add the likes of Richard Armitage, Joe Wilkinson and Henry Paker to that list is amazing as well as a return visit from Brian Bilston. Not only do we want to shout about books and reading but we want to be part of the story of amazing events happening in Birmingham and in particular our corner of Kings Heath. We hope to see you at one of our author events this winter."
