After pacing around Leeds for hours, trying to find somewhere to spend our night out, my flatmates and I stumbled upon Space , purely by chance.

As I'm not so much of a 'nightclub person' (a little odd for a student, I must admit), I really enjoyed the more compact, intimate layout.

Surprisingly, claustrophobia was not an issue, as the club's hidden location meant that it didn't resemble a can of sardines as much as one would expect. It also meant that finding your friends was easier than it would be in a bigger club.

The drink prices were quite reasonable, although nowhere near as cheap as the Student's Union prices we are so used to; and with £5 for entry, it made for a cheap night overall. If you're a fan of smaller venues and hidden gems, this club is definitely for you.

N.B. Although it did not bother me in the slightest, the more conservative among you may be unsettled by the unisex toilets.

Saying that, you may be too drunk and having too much fun to care!
