I'm a student living in South London and studying at University, who has enjoyed writing for years.
This August's bank holiday weekend is looking to be momentous for the London nightlife calendar with the annual South West Four festival hitting the streets of Clapham Common for its tenth anniversary.
Pairing once again with Get Loaded festival and as part of the Metro weekend, this year is looking to be even more spectacular than usual, so don's miss out on the last of the tickets.
Twenty hours of the best DJs and live electronic performances will keep the weekend dance vibe alive, including headline acts Armin van Buuren (Saturday), Groove Armada, and the one and only Example (Sunday). This world class line up is certainly its biggest and most impressive yet, and with no working Monday morning the day after, the hysteria is sure to reach boiling point. And with no camping either, the gig without the tents is the ideal festival combination for most city dwellers.
Kicking off at midday, the actual festival is set to finish at around 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday, a smorgasbord of after parties is on offer for those looking to dance the night away. The official after party continues the top class entertainment, with DJ guru Eric Prydz headlining at South West More at Electric Brixton, as well as world renowned beat dropper Laidback Luke at the Ministry of Sound. If you consider yourself a dance music fan, you would not find yourself anywhere else. This plethora of talent, heaving bass beats, and huge production, are likely to make this night the highlight of the London clubbing scene this summer.
With nine years' worth of proof, monumental performances and unforgettable acts descending on the South West London dance festival 'SW4' is set to be a truly memorable weekender.
And don't worry, you've always got Monday to recover!
