CLF Art Cafe was founded by The Chronic Love Foundation, a humanitarian organisation with the aim of making positive global change through creative projects. After securing a home in Peckham's Bussey Building, they turned the hundred and twenty year old warehouse into a leading arts venue, hosting events in music, theatre, film, anime, art, comedy, and more.
One of their most cutting edge projects is the
South London Soul Train . This is not the modern equivalent of the River Styx, but a bi-weekly festival force feeding you love, funk, and soul.
The next Soul Train will be arriving at the station on the 30th August at 2pm, and will feature five carefully selected dance bands in their open air terrace. The Funk Pit room will open its doors at 10pm with DJ legend, Snowboy, vinyl junkie, Rob Messier, and Veteran, Adrian Gibbson. You will also be able to enter the Soul Lab for other DJs such as Nik Weston, Marcia Carr, Si Cheeba, and Richio Suzuki.
Tickets can be booked for the all day/all night event and cost £15-£20. For £10-£15, you can also choose a night only ticket. Barbecue food will be available all day, as will a selection of cocktails and mocktails.
