South London's Own Pacific Island

What do we South Londoners do when the weather outside is frightful? Well, we don't let rain dampen our parade - instead we head off to sunnier climes - without the need for our passport (well, only if it's needed as a proof of age that is) - that's because where we're going alcohol is involved - oh yes, we're going to South London Pacific.

What is it? It's South London's best Tiki bar - serving a range of popular and well known exotic cocktails - including the always-fashionable Mai Tai, served a delicious three ways. If Mai Tai is not your thing - you can always choose from down the extensive cocktail list until you find something you like, or just something you have never tried before, there's something for every taste here.

The place tends to come to life mainly at the weekends - with Friday being the pop party night, while Saturday is more about soul and funk - though there are other sporadic events on other days of the week - with old school rock 'n' roll having a quite popular following.

The decor is pleasing on the eye too - and the attention to detail really brings a smile to your face - my favourite touch being the table football table where all of the players are wearing hula skirts.

So, get yourself into party mode one weekend, and see why South London is never cold, thanks to having our own bit of the Pacific to keep us warm.
