I bet you think there's nothing I can teach you about Battersea. I know you know about the Power Station - who doesn't...I know you know about the Park, you've been there plenty of times before. I'm even sure you know about the Dog's Home. Well, I still have a card up my sleeve that I've not told you about before - I know about the Source ...

This is a real gem in the Battersea crown, as it is the type of place you discover and instantly want to return with friends to show them what you have found. It is a restaurant which focuses on British food, using only British seasonal ingredients. And it not only serves local produce, but lists them - letting you see just where they source their produce from.

So what can you have? Well, the fact that the restaurant is open every day of the week, and usually at both lunch and dinner times, there is quite a good variety of meals on offer for you - so expect everything from burgers and fresh fish for lunch, through to lamb leg, homemade spaghetti and gnocci for dinner - all served expertly with accompaniments - and there really is a plethora to choose from besides, from nibbles when your not so hungry, and brunch when you're between meals.

Another feature which you should really try is their water - that's right, their water - as the bottles of water served to you while you eat actually come from their own spring - so really you're getting water from the Source.

There are so many reasons to love this place that all I can recommend is to go there and see it for yourself, and then think of me as you start inviting your friends to 'this great new place in Battersea' you've discovered...
