When we were young, we sang a song for our head, shoulders, knees, and toes. It would get us bending, stretching, and having fun. Now we're all grown up, we can have just as much fun with
Songs for the Head, Heart & Toes .
A night of musical entertainment at Leicester Square Theatre on the 15th July, will make you privy to a selections of songs that are to appear in four new musicals by Lizzie Freeborn.
Freeborn's songs are melodic, harmonic, and paint an atmospheric story with sophisticated lyrics. Key character songs include 'Undertaking Life', 'Neon', and 'My Dream Tonight'.
These feature in
Hot Lips and Cold War, her one act play that invites audiences into the boudoir of iconic 1960s figures such as John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, and Jackie Kennedy. This is a taster for her full-length show,
White House. Songs will also appear from her musical comedy,
Wildlife, which raises key environmental concerns about habitat loss, depleting fish stocks, and the impact of a digital life.
