Tasty Vietnamese in Under 10 Minutes
Traditional Vietnamese served in under eight minutes is a regular occurrence at Song Que, located on Kingsland Road in the popular area of Shoreditch. With ample staff on hand and constant foot fall in the restaurant, it is easy to see why it is a popular destination for lovers of Asian cuisine.
With a great selection of over 100 dishes, there is something for everyone. Chicken, beef, tofu, duck and prawns are the staples, whilst the unique monkfish makes an appearance also.
Vietnamese food is fresh, extremely tasty, and not as naughty as the common take away. If you have not had Vietnamese before it is definitely a flavoursome option to test out with some authentic dishes on offer.

The popular rice paper rolls, filled with vermicelli noodles, fresh prawns, coriander and paired with a delicious dipping sauce is a great starting option to share amongst friends. If you are a fan of seafood the deep fried soft-shell crab is a combination of crunch and saltiness that you expect.
Working your way into the mains menu can be quite overwhelming as you are spoilt for choice. Whether vegetarian or meat is your forte, you will be able to find something, spiced to perfection to choose from. The beef noodle salad is a worthwhile option, with bean sprouts, grilled beef with lemongrass, lettuce and carrot, with a side of Vietnamese dipping sauce to pour over the dish and enhance its flavour to your meal.
Song Que has impeccable service and the beauty of this venue is that your meal arrives within 10 minutes. Like many people, I am a big supporter of fast food, in the sense that food that is prepared in a timely manner, teamed with good service, is a recipe for success. This explains the constant influx of people decked out at every table within the restaurant and their strong customer base, despite the high competition in a road filled with Vietnamese options for the masses.
