Solace Spa is a conveniently located beauty spa at Five Ways in Edgbaston, approximately 10 minutes walk from New Street Station, easily accessible by public transport and with a small car park at the rear for customers who drive.

The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome as soon as you set foot through the door; chatty and friendly, but knowing exactly when to let the ambience and relaxing surroundings of the spa take over and do the talking. The relaxation room offers a selection of magazines, various herbal teas and water, which are all available at no extra cost.



Treatments are available for both men and women, making this a great little haven for escaping the bustle of the city centre - whether it's for a girly afternoon out, for couples to spoil themselves or just for a quick manicure during your lunch break. The treatments are also available as combination packages, and gift vouchers can also be bought online as well as directly from the spa.

On my trip to the spa I was lucky enough to be treated to a Combination Package, comprising of a facial, a full back massage and a file and polish for my toes. I can recommend all three treatments, although the best bit has to be the back massage which was given on a heated couch.

All in all, this is a lovely hideaway just outside the city centre. I'd definitely recommend a trip to recharge your batteries.
