Mirror, mirror on the wall, what's the fastest selling panto of them all? Certainly, in the case of the Lichfield Garrick theatre, the answer may well be Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The Garrick is delighted to announce that, due to unprecedented demand, an additional week of performances has been added to this year's annual pantomime to extend the run even further. The Lichfield theatre has once again joined forced with Paul Hendy and Evolution Productions to bring audiences a real festive treat. And local panto legend Sam Rabone is back once more for his seventh year at the Garrick as he returns as Nurse Nellie. He' will also be back directing the production. Snow White opens on November 25 and now continues until January 8 next year. And the cast and crew will be hoping to top the near 30,000 people who went to see the All-New Adventures of Peter Pan last Christmas.

Sam Rabone said: "I am absolutely over the moon that we've extended the pantomime into January! Over the two months we work together, all of us in the cast and crew become such close friends, so I'm thrilled to be spending the extra time with them! If you haven't booked your tickets yet, don't panic – you've got more shows than ever to pick from!" Sam said it was the first time he has done Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Garrick. "We have such a good cast, from a magnificent seven to a handsome Prince and an evil queen. With all new jokes this year (and some old ones we should probably know better than to use again), I can't wait to hear the first few bars of Bring Me Sunshine and bring you the fairest panto of them all."

Joining Sam are two more familiar faces – Maria Conneely and George Akid. Eagle-eyed panto fans will recognise Maria from last year's All New Adventures of Peter Pan, where she played Lizzie, while George was in 2019's panto Cinderella, where he played one of the Ugly Sisters. Also joining the cast are Daniel Breakwell as Prince Charming and Lindsay Bennett-Thompson as the Wicked Queen. And they will be joined on stage by the Magnificent Seven, including familiar faces such as Brian Wheeler (Star Wars) as Brian, and Dean Whatton (Game of Thrones, Call the Midwife) as Sarge. They will be alongside Liam Roche as Groover, George Coppen as Striker, Jack Hilton as Cheeky, Isaac Napoli as Loopy, and Geoffrey Sergison as Sniffy. The Garrick said they were delighted to be bringing their annual festive treat back in full force after such a difficult year.

Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs will be at the Lichfield Garrick from Fri 25th November until Sun 8th January 2023. Tickets priced from £15 are available by calling the Box Office on 01543 412121, or by visiting
