I'm a hard-working, fun-loving student at the University of Leeds, always looking for a chance to write about something

Capture your own little piece of sunshine in the bright, fresh surroundings of the Smoothie Company opposite the Parkinson Building of the University of Leeds. Providing cures for hangovers, colds, and a missed breakfast, their smoothie selection covers everything and more while all being equally delicious.
Whether you're on the move and need something quick or fancy having a chat with a friend and sinking into one of the inviting sofas, this tiny café is friendly and relaxed and offers a cheery hideout from the Leeds drizzle.
For those of you with a little more appetite, the fabulous selection of homemade sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, salads and soups should do something to bulk up your order, and with it all being sold at an unbelievably reasonable price then it would be a shame not to sample a few more of their goods.
It's a great place for students and anyone wanting to try something a bit different and an addictive place for you to take a detox from the busyness of work or study. The staff are friendly and efficient so don't worry if there's a bit of a queue, especially around lunch time, but at any time of the day you'll be met with a smile and a great place to just get away from it all for a few moments.
