SLIDE/TAPE Launch - Vivid Projects



Based on Fazely Street, is this hidden gem that is Vivid Projects.

I had been wanting to go to this art gallery for a while and got to go a couple of weeks ago when they had their Rebel Girl exhibition.



It was small, interesting and one of those exhibitions where you have to get involved in it to enjoy it. There were things to read, watch and interact with. The subject matter was all about the Riot Grrrl movement, something I love so it was awesome to see.

On the 4th October the art gallery is launching its next exhibition, Slide/Tape.

Exhibiting artists include Black Audio Film Collective, Ian Breakwell, Nina Danino, William Furlong, Sunil Gupta, Tina Keane and Cordelia Swann.

Curated by Yasmeen Baig-Clifford and Mo White, the exhibition is running until 16th November and is focused on Tape Slides or as it is also known s narrative with slides.



I would say this show is definitely worth seeing, so go find the treasure in this treasure island.
