Have you ever found the idea of camping more romantic than the actual reality? Getting back to nature sounds great, but then when you're there, what do you get? Insect bites, wild animals skulking round your tent, lame ghost stories, cold baked beans (you couldn't light the campfire), chills, and a pee tree with no toilet paper. Really sets the mood, doesn't it?

Doingsomething.co.uk have just the solution. The dating website has organised a unique camping trip for singletons at The View From The Shard . Be one of the first to experience overnight access to seventy-two-floor glass building with an eight hundred foot view.

On the 13th September VIP Bell Camps will be set up on the partially exposed top level, so you can look up at the starry night sky. Alternatively, you can camp undercover on Level 69 with a 360 degree panorama of the city. Either way, no wild animals will be creeping into your tent from up there.



And forget the lame ghost stories, guests will be entertained by acoustic performances, literary readings, word games to break the ice, and the chance to peek through a powerful Royal Observatory telescope.

Dinner will be more substantial than tinned beans too. Piping hot pizza will be served straight from the Soho ovens of Pizza Pilgrims , which has a tempting selection to choose from. To help you drift off, there will be a serving of cocoa and lullabies.

An early rise will follow as you watch the sun rise and sit down to breakfast. Bookings are £99, but if you don't want to sleepover, you can also book £50 tickets for just the evening.
