In 1952, director, Gene Kelly, choreographed and performed a modest musical called Singing In The Rain. After minimal success, who was to know that it would one day take the world by storm (forgive the pun) and become one of our most loved classics!

Now director, Jonathan Church, along with his choreographer, Andrew Wright, has brought Singing In The Rain to the stage.

Times are changing in Hollywood. The first talking picture, The Jazz Singer has just been released. It is an exciting time for audiences and studios alike, but for actor Don Lockwood, it's nothing but trouble. In this musical comedy you'll see Lockwood's frustration as he struggles to perform alongside his screen lover, Lina Lamont. Looks she has. A voice she has not. How many times must he say 'I love you', before she can get her lines right?

With all the charm and comedy of the original film, Singing In The Rain is sure to bring a few laughs, and get you wanting to dance all the way home. Don't forget your brolly.

The 2 and a half hour performance runs Mondays through Saturdays at 2.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are between £15-£65
